ChocolateBanana Oatmeal

As this is one of our first recipes ever we thought we just had to introduce you to our all time fave.
Oatmeal, porridge, however you like to call it (even though there is a slight difference between those two), they have been around for quite a while now, we know.

But did you already know about our favourite oatmeal creation? If so, why aren’t we¬†friends yet?
Even if you didn’t after this you will and we can be friends as well.

Anyways, getting back to business.
Oats of any kind are one of our everyday superfoods and if you aren’t already you definitely should be eating them more frequently.
Having them for breakfast creates the perfect basis for a busy day as they keep you full for a really long time (mainly because they are high in fiber).

By the way, the Internet told us that tomorrow (Oct. 10th) is World Porridge Day – one more reason to start the following day with a big bowl of this oaty goodness!

This recipe is great for busy mornings as it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. Only the indulging part may take a little longer..

  1. Put oats, chia seeds and cocoa powder in a bowl.
  2. Add milk of your choice to the dry mixture and let it soak for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the sweetener and cute the banana into pieces which you add as well.
